Cluster organisation
From Officience
(Redirected from Clusters)
The "Cluster organisation" was first documented by Hoang Anh PHAN in 2014, as Officience moved to new organization.
The collaborative document was crucial in the transformation, answering those questions :
- Why do we want to move to clusters?
- What is a cluster ?
- What are the key principles ?
- What are the levels of autonomy for a cluster ?
- What are the roles within a cluster ?
- How does a cluster operate ?
The document includes a very useful Change FAQs answering practical questions :
- Who is managing me?
- Who validates my OPERA? and how?
- Who reviews my salary? Who can fire me? Who can appraise me?
- What’s the difference between an Engagement Leader and a Cluster Libero?
- So I have 2 ‘managers’, the Engagement Leader and the Line Manager?
- What’s the difference between a cluster and a BU?
- Why a minimum size of 6? Is there a cluster maximum size?
- Why am I in this cluster? Can I chose my cluster?
- Is there a maximum number of clusters I can be part of?
- Who can / Can I create a cluster?
- Is anyone else in the world using clusters?
- Do the clusters replace the old organization?
Lot of answers have since evolved, but this collective work was essential source of inspiration for Officience.
