Promote reading is part of Officience's sharing knowledge cause.
The "hashtag #OffyRead" was used on Google+ to tag all articles related to book reading and a Community was formed around Book Reading theme to find ways to boost Book reading in Officience.
OffyRead Community initial objectives :
- Create a club for offies who love to read to meet and exchange about content of books they read.
- Motivate offies to borrow books from the library
Several programs were tested as :
- Give a free book to every newcomer
- Give free book on demand : Every offy could be offered the book they want to read by posting their request on Google+ with the hastage #OffyRead
Those program are no longer active. New ideas are wanted and new animators for the cause.
