Foreigners need a work permit to work in Vietnam.
How to apply for work permit ?
1) Form No.1 (Submit 30 days in advance)
Required information:
- position (match with major in degree),
- salary,
- qualification (master/bachelor...),
- expected starting date (not sooner than 30 days from the applying date of this form)
2) Form No.6 (apply with all below documents)
- Qualification & Criminal records from abroad: Notarize at Embassy. Translation & notarization. Legalize at Foreign Affairs. Translation & notarization.
- Copy of Passport
- Health certificate
- 4 photos 4x6 (2 for health certificate and 2 for work permit)
- Criminal records in Vietnam (if required): Apply at Justice Department: 2 forms 03/TT-LLTP, passport, visa and resident registration (be finished within 1 month)
- Working experience (if any)
Apply for work permit renewal ?
1) Form No.1 (Submit 30 days before WP expired date)
2) Form No.8
- Health certificate
- Previous Work Permit
- Passport
- 2 photos 4x6
- Investment Certificate, Authority Letter
