Vietnamese work permit

Foreigners need a work permit to work in Vietnam.

How to apply for work permit ?

1) Form No.1 (Submit 30 days in advance)

Required information:

• position (match with major in degree),
• salary,
• qualification (master/bachelor...),
• expected starting date (not sooner than 30 days from the applying date of this form)

2) Form No.6 (apply with all below documents)

• Qualification & Criminal records from abroad: Notarize at Embassy. Translation & notarization. Legalize at Foreign Affairs. Translation & notarization.
• Copy of Passport
• Health certificate
• 4 photos 4x6 (2 for health certificate and 2 for work permit)
• Criminal records in Vietnam (if required): Apply at Justice Department: 2 forms 03/TT-LLTP, passport, visa and resident registration (be finished within 1 month)
• Working experience (if any)

Apply for work permit renewal ?

1) Form No.1 (Submit 30 days before WP expired date)

2) Form No.8

• Health certificate
• Previous Work Permit
• Passport
• 2 photos 4x6
• Investment Certificate, Authority Letter
